Frequently Asked Questions Can people of different religious backgrounds be married here? Yes. Our motto: “In the Community, For the Community, Serving the Community. May I have my own minister? Yes. With prior approval another minister, priest or rabbi may perform your wedding ceremony. Is there a waiting list? No. You reserve a date and time that best meets your needs. Weddings, however, are scheduled primarily on Saturday’s at 12 noon, 2 pm, 4 pm, 6 pm, or 8 pm. How much time do I have for my wedding? One - Two hours depending on your package selection. We want you to fully enjoy our Chapel facilities. A marriage service takes about 20-35 minutes. How many people will the Chapel hold? The Chapel will accommodate up to 70 guests. If you are planning for more guests, please contact the Church Administrative Office for cost of renting the Temple of Praise Community Church Sanctuary. How many attendants may we have? Due to the size of the Wedding Chapel we recommend no more than (2) on each side. Are we allowed to decorate the Chapel? Yes. However, since the Chapel is so beautifully decorated already with exquisite leaded stained glass windows, there is no need to bother with expensive decorations. Are Dressing Rooms Available? Yes. Not only do we provide a dressing room for the Bride and Bridesmaids, but one for the Groom and Groomsmen as well.
