“FLORISTS” GUIDELINES Wedding Party ___________________________________________________________________ Date & Time of Wedding ____________________________________________________________ Name of FLORIST ________________________ Owner of Florist____________________________ I have read and understand Temple of Praise Community Church’s Guidelines for Florists and agree to comply with these guidelines. Signature of Owner or Responsible Party: ________________________ Date__________________ Please read the regulations, sign, and return to the Bride. Keep one copy for your reference. 1. Decorations should be in keeping with the sacred aspect of the ceremony. 2. Only steel-cased, dripless candles may be used. A small piece of plastic should be placed under each. You will be responsible for cleaning wax found on floors, furniture or carpets. 3. If aisle candles are used, they must have hurricane globes and all possible precautions should be taken for the safety of all guests. 4. No nails, thumbtacks, staples, pins or screws are to be driven into any part of the chairs or building. No tape or glue is to be used to fasten decorations to the furniture or building. Only wrapped wire, padded clamps or ribbon may be used to attach bows, ferns or flowers to the chairs. 5. No furnishings shall be moved without approval. 6. Decorations may be placed in the facility one hour prior to the ceremony for Deluxe-Plus, Premier and Ultimate Packages. Any deviation from this must be approved by the Temple of Praise Community Church Wedding Coordinator. 7. Please label all corsages and boutonnieres and place them in the bride’s dressing room along with the bride’s and bridesmaids’ bouquets prior to the ceremony. 8. Only silk rose petals may be used by the flower girl, and they must be cleaned up immediately following the ceremony. 9. The throwing of rice, confetti, birdseed or rose petals by members of the wedding party or guests inside or outside the buildings is not permitted under any circumstances. Bubbles may used only on the outside of the buildings. 10. Removal of all decorations must begin immediately after the photographer has finished taking photographs. This is the responsibility of the florist and must be completed as rapidly as possible. 11. If the wedding is on Saturday and the family of the bride or groom wishes to leave a floral arrangement for the Sunday worship service, the church office should be advised of this prior to the wedding. The wedding coordinator can do this for you if advised ahead of time. 12. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the premises, and the use of tobacco products is not permitted inside the buildings.
